Really Depressed need some help

I am having a really hard time right now an I am sorry that I have not posted much at all the last few months but it has been a uphill batttle for me.
I really need some ecourageing (sp) words right now.
My question is this: If God only gives you what you can handle why is it so painful sometime?

I'm sorry that you are down.  It is a difficult time of year for many people.  I don't know why things are so painful sometimes.  I always try to ask myself - what is God trying to tell me?  There is also a verse in the bible about going through fire to be purified and sometimes I think that is why we have hard times - they are making us stronger and better.  I don't know if my words will help, but I hope they will.  You are close by and maybe some people from here who are close by could meet you somewhere and talk if that would help.  Keep your chin up and know that God is always with you, no matter what.  Keep talking to people.

Is they anything that one person can do to lift some of the wieght off your mind and help you get through? i'n mot saying I can offer much help or even any since I don't know what you need but will you let me try?

I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time. Is there anything we can do to help? Are there specific struggles that you want to talk about that maybe we could brainstorm some solutions or ideas for how to handle things? 

Are you attending a support group for WLS right now? If not, I suggest finding one (or two or three) and attending the heck out of those things! Surround yourself with other WLS folks - we all struggle with the same things in this journey and knowing that others have forged the way for you will help you to cope with the craziness of this battle.

I recently discovered K-Love Radio and it's been such a blessing to me in my life. I don't know how God does it, but whatever issue I'm struggling with each day, he finds just the right song and I hear it playing for me on KLove at exactly the right time. For many the holidays bring on added stress. Know that God has a plan for each of us. Sometimes we don't understand his plan but he knows what we need to keep us focused on him. Give yourself the freedom to let God lead you where he needs you.

Hi,  A year ago this past Thanksgiving I was told that my doctor saw signs of breast cancer...I did not know how bad it would be...I had my biopsy last Jan. a dbl mastectomy in Feb. I guess what I am trying to say is I did not know if I would be here this Christmas or not....But I had to put my fears and life in God's hands and say lead me through this...He did..I am hear alive, kicking and being bad....  

A friend sent me this saying and it is at the end of all of my emails...and boy let me tell you it is so true....Gather your friends and family around...talk to as many people as you can.... Find support groups...someone will help...believe me.....

Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Another, Even Though Sometimes It's Hell in the Hallway ..."

I wanted to write an update everyone that though I still have been feeling depressed. I am doing much better an thank you for all the kind words I really was uplifted by them thanks to all MY OH friends

My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. May your higher power take over and help you through this time and guide you to a brighter spot in your existence.
